Ice Cream Trike Restoration

"A while back, I came across a small collection of vintage delivery trikes from the 60's. These bikes were made in Quebec and saw most of their use by the city or local depanneurs. Some are even still in use today!
They were in rough shape. Many had stuck seatposts, completely broken wheels, and lots of rust. It was even hard for me to imagine if they'd ever get fixed up.
A local teenage entrepreneur contacted us looking for an ice cream trike for his popsicle business. It was the perfect opportunity to get another one of these bikes back on the road.
First, the bike was taken apart, sandblasted, and checked for damages that needed correcting.
It was then powdercoated in Royal Blue.
A custom insulated box was built on top of the frame's platform, that way temperature could be held for extended periods of time. The box's frame was made of wood, and filled with foam panelling in varying dimensions with built-in air gaps for insulation.
The final build features hand-built wheels, a Sturmey Archer drum brake rear hub, a two-part countertop, and our very first edition of CNC signature badges. This thing went from being trash to having stance!
